Learning Objective
Learning a language is a process that takes time, effort and dedication. It is very important to be aware that learning is an individual process. Therefore, it is necessary to know what our motivations and expectations are, which strategies we can implement and which materials or resources we can use to improve our communicative skills.
Task 2: The second step to prepare your Personal Plan of Work is to write a specific learning objective in English to achieve by the end of September. Before writing, take into account the diagnostic activities and the placement test to evaluate your abilities in the language and consider your needs, your interests, the proposed strategies, the materials and the result you want at the end of this first plan.
Example of objective:
I want to improve my academic reading skill by investigating about different reading strategies. So I will choose 2 papers of my career, apply the reading strategies to the papers and do a power point presentation to my classmates of English class about this topic. I will reach my goal by the end of September.

DeleteI want to improve my listening and reading skills by reading an audio book (or watching t.v. shows with closed captions or watching a TED conference, choose one option). So I will do a glossary with the definition of unknown words in English and I will recount the story (orally or written, you choose). I will do the achievement by the end of September.

ReplyDeleteI want to improve in grammar, listening and technique reading but I need to add technique words in my glossary, because is necessary for the progress in my english course or my career like mechanical engineer.
My plan for the next month is:
I will see a serie fo You Tube, the serie is about cars and mechanics, with this, I will do a little presentation about the serie with new words or new glossary.

DeleteI want to improve my grammar skill by studying English grammar books such as: Essential Grammar in Use or some websites. So I will do an amazing book that will be useful for my classmates. I will achieve my goal by the end of September.
My purposes forma the next month are: remember and widen my vocabulary (grammar, verbs...). Can speak and listen about matter of day-to-day and current topics.

I want to improve my grammar, listenning, reading and speaking by use an audiobook; The audiobook is Price and prejudice by Jane Austin. So I will a short video speaking about the book. I will achieve my goal by the end of September.
DeleteMy objective is to improve my reading, listening and my vocabulary through videos of Ted (www.ted.com) in English with subtitulos in English and videos theme are of my interest(for example Minerals) and my final product is a glossary (the glossary has definition, example) and a short summary of the video, I'm going to work on my objective on Wednesday and Saturday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

My personal work plan, is about to see a chapter by series in English to the day in ororo, and at the same time go searching for the meaning of words that do not understand, to have a broad vocabulary, I will also learn at least one song in English . -> Listening: Across the audio-books, conferencies, TV shows, etc, with subtitles in English. For that, I will use interactive platforms as Netflix, YouTube; and, the resources of Center Idioms.
-> Reading: I will approach books, articles, news, etc, in English. For that, I will support in Monolingual dictionary and other resources that help me to understand the text.
Product: I thinking to make a general presentation about the book "The Great Leveler" by Walter Scheidel.
